The Salt Spa Bar from Sintra Naturals is a cold-process soap that does two things well: it cleanses thoroughly and exfoliates gently, without the synthetic fragrance or artificial colourants that irritate sensitive skin. The sunshine-yellow colour comes entirely from turmeric. The mild scrub comes from Himalayan pink salt. No shortcuts.
The bar is palm oil-free and unscented, which matters more than it sounds. Most commercial soaps rely on palm oil for lather and synthetic fragrance for appeal — this one achieves both through the ingredient list itself. Coconut powder (not oil alone) contributes a thick, creamy lather with natural sugars. Shea butter keeps the bar moisturising rather than drying. Olive oil adds a gentleness that makes it suitable for daily use on all skin types, including children.
Because no essential oils are used, this is one of the few exfoliating bars that genuinely suits reactive or sensitive skin.
