French Pink Clay is the ingredient that sets this bar apart from a standard moisturising soap. It draws out impurities and removes dead skin cells while the clay's mineral content leaves skin looking refreshed rather than stripped. It also gives the bar its distinctive natural pink colour, which varies slightly from batch to batch because no artificial colourants are used.
The base oils do the heavy lifting. Olive oil (Olea europaea kernel oil) is one of the mildest cleansing oils available — it moisturises without disrupting the skin's surface and has well-documented anti-inflammatory properties that make it a reliable choice for eczema-prone or reactive skin. Coconut oil (Cocos nucifera oil) brings the lather: rich, creamy, and bubbly, it cleanses thoroughly without irritating.
