Most hand lotions do one thing well. This one from Bouclé does both: it conditions with sunflower seed oil and olive oil as the working base, and it scents with pure essential oils rather than synthetic fragrance. The difference is noticeable — not just in how it smells, but in how the scent behaves on skin.
The three essential oils are chosen to work together rather than compete. Juniper (Juniperus communis) brings a clean, slightly resinous quality. Lime zest (Citrus aurantifolia) adds brightness without sharpness. Garden mint here is Mentha spicata — spearmint, the softer variety — which rounds the whole thing out without tipping into the sharp, medicinal edge you get from peppermint. The result is crisp and genuinely invigorating: the kind of scent that makes washing your hands feel like a moment rather than a task.
