The beechwood is sourced from an FSC-certified supplier, which means the wood comes from responsibly managed forests — not a vague claim, but a verified supply chain standard. When the brush reaches the end of its life, the handle is suitable for home composting. The bristles are nylon and should be removed before composting the handle.
