The bamboo used is FSC® 100% certified (FSC® C007915), which means it has been verified against the Forest Stewardship Council's principles — covering ecosystem maintenance, indigenous land rights, and a commitment to sustain the forests used. The handle is made from a single piece of Moso bamboo, which is naturally antibacterial and water-resistant, and can regrow to full size within a year of harvesting depending on cut.
