Four Sussex ciders, four Sussex cheeses, each matched to bring out something the other would not show on its own. The combinations are specific — unexpected contrasts that work precisely because someone thought about them.
Big Nose and Beardy make their cider using apples sourced from local private gardens and orchards, hand-picked with the help of volunteers. Pressing is powered by a combination of solar, water, and human energy. The apple pomace left after pressing goes to local pigs and cows. The packaging — glass bottles, metal caps, cardboard cases — is fully recyclable. This is not a brand that gestures at sustainability; it is built into how they operate.
The cheese comes from the Traditional Cheese Dairy and is collected fresh for each order, which is why you should allow 7–10 days for preparation. It arrives ready to refrigerate.
